1. Any advice on getting my escorts to keep up with my jumps?
Keep your escorts upgraded with sufficient speed and jump capability. Avoid making rapid consecutive jumps before your fleet has regrouped, as slower escorts may fall behind.
2. Is it possible to get escorts to hold position after landing?
No. Escorts automatically regroup with your flagship after landing. There is currently no dedicated option to make them remain at a landed location permanently.
3. Can I escort the Spirit cargo myself?
No. Spirit escort missions follow the game’s mission rules, and players cannot manually assign themselves as the escort for Spirit cargo.
4. Why are my escorts disappearing?
Escorts may disappear if they are destroyed, unable to complete a jump, or become stranded due to a lack of fuel or equipment. In some cases, this can also be caused by a game bug.
5. My escort ship is stuck in space. How can I fix it?
First, verify that the escort has fuel, a functioning jump drive, power generation, and enough crew. If the ship still won’t move, try landing at a station and relaunching. If the problem persists, it may be caused by a known bug and could require reloading an earlier save.
