About This Game
Dragon Loop is an open-world Metroidvania game with a unique time loop story. You play as Xi, a young hero who is trapped in a five-day time loop. She has lost her memories and must discover the truth behind the mysterious Dragon Loop. Alongside her loyal companion, Ouro, Xi explores a beautiful hand-drawn world where time changes the environment in small but important ways. Your goal is to escape the loop by exploring, fighting enemies, and uncovering hidden secrets.
As you travel through the world, you will face many powerful bosses. Defeating them rewards you with special spirits that can be summoned during battle. Some spirits deal heavy damage with powerful attacks, while others stay by your side and help you fight. You can also upgrade these spirits to make them stronger as you progress through the game.
Exploration is a big part of the adventure. You can collect rare Pearls that unlock special abilities and useful tools. These include unique creatures like spiky pufferfish, magnetic boxes, and a whale spirit that can vacuum objects. These powers help you solve puzzles, reach new areas, and make combat easier.
The combat is fast, smooth, and action-packed. Xi and Ouro work together to defeat enemies using quick attacks and special abilities. By fighting skillfully, you can increase your X-Rating, which boosts your speed and overall combat strength.
Time is limited in Dragon Loop, so every decision matters. You only have five days in each loop, and you must carefully plan your journey using the easy-to-follow Time Map. Your choices can unlock different story paths and reveal new events. Even though the game uses a time loop system, it is not a roguelike.
