About This Game

Dreamcutter is a side-scrolling action platformer where you use a mysterious scythe that has its own hidden purpose. It promises rewards and a way to escape, but you must explore the strange and dangerous world inside the main character Haley’s mind. Along the way, Haley and her friend Lucia travel through the darkest parts of her subconscious, facing unusual enemies and challenges.

In the game, you can run, jump, and fight while using the Dreamcutter as both a weapon and a useful tool. It lets you stick into walls to reach higher places, swing across gaps, grind, and float through levels. You can also earn points with combo attacks and collect coins to upgrade your abilities.

FAQs

1) How do I make money faster in early game?

Focus on building small attractions first and upgrade them evenly. Don’t rush big rides early—steady visitor flow + snack shops gives better income.

2) What’s the best way to increase park popularity?

Place attractions in themed zones (space, nature, spooky, etc.). Visitors like areas that feel “complete,” which boosts satisfaction and more visitors.

3) Should I always upgrade rides to max level?

Not always. Upgrade when you can afford it comfortably. Some players recommend stopping at mid-upgrades early so you don’t drain cash and research points too fast.

4) What’s the research trick people talk about?

When researching attractions, aim for lower-star research first (Star 1–2) for safer success. Higher-star (Star 3) is risky but gives better results. Many players avoid rushing Star 3 early game.

5) Is Dream Park Story worth playing?

Most players say it’s a very solid Kairosoft builder with lots of customization and replay value. Downsides are:

  • Slight grind in mid/late game
  • Some upgrades feel slow or RNG-based
But overall it’s considered one of their better management sims with strong park-building freedom.
